2006 中国国际工业展览会于2006年11月1日至5日在上海新国际博览中心隆重举行.政治局委员、国务院副总理曾培炎为“工博会”发表了贺词 ,上海市市长韩正致开幕词,各主办单位领导为本届“工博会”开幕辞剪裁.
China International industry Fair 2006(CIIF 2006) was heldat Shanghai New international Expo Centre From November 1to 5,2006.Mr. Zeng Peiyan, member of the Political Bureau ofthe Central committee of the Communist Party of China, alsovice Premier of the State Council, sent a letter of congratulationsto CIIF.Mr. Han Zheng, Mayor of shanghai,delivered an openingspeech and the leaders of CIIF organizers cut the ribbon for theopening ceremony of CIIF 2006.
本届“工博会”突出与国际接轨,以专业化组展.共设信息技术与装备展,数控机床与专用装备展暨中国国际金属加工工业展览会,工业自动化展暨亚洲国际工厂及过程自动化技术与设备展览会,能源装备展暨亚洲国际电力、电工及能源技术与设备展览会,环保技术与设备展、科技创新展六个专业展.展览规模11万平方米,参展展位达4680个,分别比上一届增加37%和36.9%.
CIIF 2006 followed the international trend of professionalshow organization and organized six specialized shows includingInformation Technology and equipment show/metal,CNCMachine Tool &Special Purpose Equipment Show/MetalWorking China,Industrial Automation Show/FactoryAutomation & INTERKAMA ASIA, Energy Show/ENERGYASIA, Environmental Protection technology and EquipmentShow.CIIF 2006 had an exhibition space of 110,000 squaremeters and 4680 booths, which increased by 37% and 36.9%respectively compared with those of last year.

本届“工博会”共有参展商1986家,其中境外展商331家.境外参展商来自德国、日本、美国、韩国、意大利、法国、芬兰、白俄罗斯、台湾、香港等22个国家与地区,参展展位1458个,占31.2%,比上届增加4%.其中不仅有西门子、ABB、威图等回头客,而且还有一批世界五百强企业和行业领先企业首次参展,如境外参展企业有斯宾纳、库卡……世界著名企业.
