在写作中,连贯性是好文章的基本要素之一,而句子的连贯性是文章连贯性的基础.在写作中,大家要掌握下面几种常用手段.
一、合理使用连接词
连接词是增加句子之间连贯性的重要手段,它主要包括并列连词和从属连词.
1．并列连词
并列连词常用来连接地位相同的分句和分句、句子和句子,常用的并列连词有and,or,but,yet,for,so ,while, nor, not only...but also, not...but等.

2．从属连词

二、贴切使用过渡语
贴切使用过渡语可增强句子之间的连贯性.过渡语主要包括起连接作用的副词和起过渡作用的插入语.下面是写作中常用的过渡语：
1．表递进的过渡语：also,and,too,furthermore,moreover,in addition
2．表时间顺序的过渡语：now,then,before,after,afterwards, earlier ,later ,immediately, soon, soon after,next, suddenly, finally, shortly after
3．表空间顺序的过渡语：near (to) ,far from,be-hind, beside, beyond, above, below ,in front of, to theright, to the left, around, on one side, outside
4.表比较的过渡语：in the same way,just like ,justas,similarly
5．表对照的过渡语：but,still,yet,however,ontheother hand ,on the contrary
6．表因果的过渡语：because,since,so,asa result,therefore. thus. otherwise
7．表目的的过渡语：forthis purpose,so that,with/for the purpose of,in the hope of
8．表强调的过渡语：in fact ,indeed,surely,cer-tainly, without any doubt, truly ,in truth
9．表解释的过渡语：actually ,for example ,in fact,in this case
10．表总结的过渡语：finally,in brief,to sum up ,inotherwords ,in conclusion
插入语一般是对一句话做些附加说明,常以副词、形容词、介词、非谓语动词等形式出现,如obvi-ously, naturally, certainly, funny, most important of all,by the way ,in short ,in other words, generally speaking,judging by,to be sure ,to tell the truth.另外,插入语也可以是简短的、有完整意义的句子,如I believe,thatis to say, asI see it ,what is important.
